Cars in German Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Officers mentioned they were alerted by a individual who discovered a car in Hanau marked with red-colored liquid

Approximately fifty automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Vehicles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they stated in a statement.

Police say they were alerted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a man observed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish substance.

The fluid had been applied in the shape of a swastika, they stated.

Law enforcement then found multiple other smeared automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under laws banning the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials say preliminary tests indicate the liquid was most likely human blood.

"Currently there is no lead as to where it came from; investigators are presently not informed of any harm in relation with the event," they stated.

Municipal representatives stated they were attempting "to unravel the incident" and have requested to the public for information.

A senior political figure said the attack rendered him stunned and needed to be resolved rapidly.

"This act affects the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on online, referring to the killing of nine victims by a gunman targeting people of migrant background in five years prior.
